Swallow`s Nest has been awarded a 4-star rating with Visit Britain, English Country Cottages & Cottages 4 You. The old cart shed and workshop have been converted into a luxurious one bedroom holiday cottage with modern appliances and features. Full laundry facilities are only a few doors away and are complimentary.

A comfortable and spacious open plan kitchen/diner/ lounge area provides ample space for a couple to relax or to entertain. A ‘leather’ sofa and oak dining suite is provided for your comfort. A large wall-mounted TV with dvd player has been provided. WiFi access has been provided for all the holiday cottages.

Large double windows allow light to flood into the lovely contemporary bedroom where a King size (5ft) bed with deep aubergine, black and silver are the feature colours. The sparkling, clean, white and black en-suite shower-room has a lovely double shower, a modern WC and hand-basin.

Under-floor heating is electric and the supplementary radiators and hot water system is run by an oil boiler. All crisp linen and towels are provided along with lovely complimentary toiletries and tasty welcome biscuits and chocolates.

The large glass front door opens out to an ample out-door seating area providing a sunny spot for the morning cup of tea and a quiet read. Nearby are manicured grassed areas and ample seating for barbeques, picnics or even a little kite flying.

NOTE: Robin’s Nest and Swallow’s Nest each have a lockable interconnecting door which can be a useful feature for group visits.
