Owl Barn

Owl barn also has been assigned an English Country Cottages high rating and a Visit Britain 4-star rating. The barn conversion has been completed using original timbers and bricks. The decoration is contemporary using warm maple and coffee colours, which enhances the bespoke oak timbers.

 With large windows the kitchen/diner is showered with natural light and opens to the lounge/living area. Both areas have tiled floors with rugs. Please note, this barn has two small steps along the hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. Also provided is ample crockery, cutlery and everday and special occasion glassware.

A large digital flat-screen television with entertainment system and surround sound has been included along with Freeview system.

To continue along the ‘green’ theme a very efficient Geo-thermal under-floor heating system has been installed to heat the floors, the towel rails, and also the hot water system. The bath and shower rooms and the utility room all have tiled floors. The washer/dryer and clothes airer has also been included in the Utility room of each cottage.

Owl Barn has a good-sized en-suite shower-room with the well furnished luxurious master bedroom. This bedroom has been adorned with an ample king-size (5 ft) contemporary four-poster-bed. The bedrooms and the hallway are all carpeted.

A full-size bath with a shower over has been included in the family bathroom along with most other modern conveniences. The two further bedrooms are equally comfortably furnished and decorated in a contemporary style, one has a king size (5 ft) bed and the other has sturdy metal wide bunk beds with memory-foam topped mattresses.

There is a walled garden with a child-friendly central fountain feature. A well kept lawn area gives plenty of outside playing/relaxing space. Garden furniture and a barbeque are also available for guest use with each cottage. Ample parking for 3 or 4 cars is also available. A Utility room has been provided to cater for all occasions.
