Eagle Barn

This barn is also highly rated by English Country Cottages and Visit Britain have awarded a 4-star rating. The three double bedroom Eagle Barn is perched near the highest point on the farm with southerly views to the valley and to Clyffe Pypard village and easterly views to Broad Town White Horse. The use of a very efficient Geo-thermal heating system heats the floors, towel rails and the hot water system. Please note, this barn has three small steps along the hallway.

A large open-plan tiled kitchen/breakfast room is a wonderful, very functional space fitted with modern appliances, along with the fully equipped utility room and a cloakroom. Original, restored timbers feature throughout this barn. The spacious open-planned living/dining area is comfortably furnished with tiled floors with a rug. An ample wall-mounted flat-screen TV and entertainment system with surround sound has also been installed.

Complimentary welcome biscuits, milk and juice along with chocolates are  provided along with bathroom toilettries.

All the bedrooms are carpeted. The large master bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed, two large windows and a Wet-room with spacious walk-in double shower with body-jets and tiled walls and floor. The second bedroom also has a luxurious King size bed and a double-sized shower in the well appointed fully-tiled en-suite shower-room.

Along the carpeted hall is the well finished fully-tiled family bathroom which also has a shower-over a full size bath tub and is near to the third bedroom. The large third bedroom has a very comfortable Super King size `zip & link` bed which can be split into two single beds. Again, this room is very comfortably finished and quite spacious.

The cloak room, which has a WC, basin and coat hooks, leads off the open-planned porch area near the lounge.

There is also a large unfenced area of lawn and a large patio space with plenty of outdoor furniture and barbeque. We have a pond nearby which is newly constructed - children take care!! Parking for 3 or 4 cars is also available.
